This is the type of battery that most people think of, the one that starts and powers a vehicle. SLI batteries make up most of what Dixie Battery does.  We also carry SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) as well as AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) GEL and Deep Cycle.

Recycling
Dixie Battery is an approved lead acid battery recycler.  Any battery we handle is disposed of properly and in an environmentally friendly way.  We will never ship our junk batteries out of the country where standards for proper handling are not followed. **Did you Know??? - It is illegal to dispose of a lead-acid battery in the trash.**  We will accept any used/damaged battery for proper recycling.
